Buy and Consign, in Waltham, MA, is a second-hand, home-goods, consignment shoppe, whose main objective is to reuse, repurpose, and recycle as many goods as possible, while maintaining a strong charitable component in the community.

We’re a fun and quirky retail space, offering both run-of-the-mill and one-of-a-kind items, including current and vintage, furniture, rugs, household items, music, electronics and books.

Our parent company, Clean Out Your House, Inc., performs estate cleanouts; with six trucks on the road every day, we are continually consigning items from local homes, and we add fresh items to our inventory daily. We also accept thoughtfully chosen “walk-in” consignment items, brought in to our store by individuals wanting to find a new home for their particular items.

You don’t have to “shop fancy” to get a gem!

A large and important part of our business includes our charitable work, which allows us to give back to our community. We receive many still-useful items from our Clean Out Your House clients’ homes, and we donate many of these items to our partner charitable organization, Household Goods, in Acton, MA; Household Goods, in turn, provides these items free of charge to families and persons in need. Household Goods has an on-going, constant, need for furniture, kitchenware, linens, and all other household items, which our clients are happy to see being put to use helping others. In addition, we donate a percentage of our proceeds to help Household Goods fund their charitable program.

Additional charity partnerships include the Epilepsy Foundation (clothing donations), and More Than Words (books, Vinyl, and Audio donations).
